89th Annual Meeting & Member Appreciation Event

Parke County REMC members gathered for an evening of fellowship, family fun, and cooperative updates during the 89th Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation Event on September 3, 2026, at the Parke County Fairgrounds.

As a thank-you to our members, each registered member received a $15 bill credit.

Congratulations to our 10 door prize winners! Each registered member was entered into the drawings, with prizes ranging from bill credits to STIHL battery-powered gift certificates. Our winners were:

• $500 Bill Credit: Dana Logan
• $250 Bill Credits: Kathy Quarles and Karen Soltermann
• $100 Bill Credits: Stephen Delp, Julia Bigger, and Aaron & Meghan Bridge
• STIHL Battery-Powered Gift Certificates: David Kennedy, Lorien Cole, Thompson Realty, and Linda Swisher

Dinner was catered by Beef House and served by the Parke Heritage High School Cheer and Dance Team. Members and their families enjoyed an evening filled with activities, including Big Bounce inflatables, balloon art, bingo, informational booths, and a Touch-a-Truck experience.

The business meeting was led by Board President Kevin Cox, followed by CEO Chadd Jenkins’ annual report, which highlighted the cooperative’s accomplishments over the past year and the new Greencastle Substation. Attorney Aleasha Boling announced the results of the 2026 Board of Directors elections:

• District 3: Mike Hale
• District 6: Mike Carpenter
• District 7: Bill Fordice
