RATE SCHEDULE SL
SECURITY LIGHTING SERVICE
Parke County REMC shall charge and collect for Security and/or Street lighting service based on availability, character of service, monthly rate, and tax adjustment.
AVAILABILITY:
Available to any member of Parke County REMC for continuous, year-round service for out door lighting where120 volt service exists ahead of the meter loop.
CHARACTER OF SERVICE:
A photo-electric controlled area lighting service using lamps and equipment available under this schedule. This includes photoelectric control equipment, lighting fixture, mast arm, and where needed, one pole and up to 150 fee of service drop.
MONTHLY RATE:
Type C.U. No. Wattage Lamp Rate
Type 1 SL-2 175 Mercury Vapor $8.00
Type 2 SL-4 400 Mercury Vapor $13.00
Type 3 SL-1000 1000 Mercury Vapor $30.00
Type 5 *1*2 SL-5 100 High Pressure Sodium $8.00
*1 any new lights installed will be Mercury Vapor as of January 1, 2003. Existing High Pressure Sodium will be phased out over the next several years.
*2 any light requiring it’s own transformer will be charged an additional $17.00 per month.
Tax Adjustment:
The amount computed at the above monthly rate shall be subject to taxes, assessments, and surcharges imposed by any governmental authority.
EXTRA CHARGES
For members requesting lighting at locations other than where REMC has available facilities, the member shall pay the installation, labor and material charges for pole, line and transformer.
BILLING:
The Security Light charge will be shown separately on the member’s regular bill and shall be paid at the same time and on the same terms as the member’s regular bill.
MAINTENANCE AND OWNERSHIP:
Parke County REMC shall install, own and maintain security lights installed under this schedule. Maintenance of Security Lights will be routinely scheduled during normal working hours at the Parke County REMC’s convenience. The member shall be required to pay for replacements due to vandalism or willful destruction.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:
1. Service shall be provided in accordance with the REMC’s Rules & Regulations for Electric Service and Bylaws. .
2. The terms of payment shall be in accordance with the Provisions set forth in the REMC’s Rules & Regulations for Electric Service and Bylaws.
