RATE SCHEDULE GS
GENERAL SERVICE NON-DEMAND
ELECTRIC SERVICE RATE SCHEDULE

Parke County REMC shall charge and collect for general service non-demand electric service based on availability, application, character of service, monthly rate, minimum charge, purchased power cost adjustment clause, and tax adjustment.

AVAILABILITY:

This schedule is available to any member located within the territory served by Parke County REMC.

APPLICATION:

This schedule is applicable to all single-phase farm and small commercial and general electric service required for lighting, power and any other purpose for which on other specific rate is applicable.

CHARACTER OF SERVICE:

Service under this schedule shall be single phase, 60 Hertz, alternating current at Parke County REMC’s available standard voltages. All electric service required on the premises by the customer will be supplied through one meter. Standby or resale service is not permitted hereunder.

MONTHLY RATE:

Facilities Charge
Single Phase $17.00 per month
Energy Charge:
First 500 kWh $0.0980 per kWh
Next 500 kWh $0.0780 per kWh
Over 1000 kWh……………………………………………..$0.0710 per kWh

PURCHASED POWER COST ADJUSTMENT:

The amount computed at the above monthly rate shall be adjusted plus or minus by a amount calculated in accordance with the formula specified in the Parke County REMC’s Purchased Power Cost Adjustment Clause (Appendix A), which is a part of the “Monthly Rate” of this rate schedule.

MINIMUM CHARGE:

The monthly minimum charge under this rate schedule shall be $17.00.

TAX ADJUSTMENT:

The amount computed at the above monthly rate as adjusted by the application of the purchased power cost adjustment clause shall be subject to taxes, assessments, and surcharges imposed by any governmental authority.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:

1. Service shall be provided in accordance with the REMC’s Rules & Regulations for Electric Service and Bylaws.

2. All single phase motors or apparatuses with an inrush current in excess of 250 amps at 240 volts shall require REMC approval.

3. Service under this schedule shall be limited to one meter for the same member where service can be adequately supplied from a single service drop.

4. The terms of payment shall be in accordance with the Provisions set forth in the REMC’s Rules & Regulations for Electric Service and Bylaws.
